If you like Meditation, retreats, yoga, energy therapies, mysticism, shamanism and everything related to the evolution of healing in humans and you are curious and exploratory, this is your place!
In the month of September I decided to train in the VIPASSANA meditation course and another one which is the Activation of Kundalini Energy ShamaniKundalini Awakening with Carmen Jaguar
I will share this training with you in another separate blog because it deserves it.
Let’s go to the VIPASSANA course!
I ventured to experiment with taking the VIPASSANA Meditation course
Because? Because that’s how I felt and because I felt like it.
Although there is always behind what pushes you to action since my journey to meditation began when I was 19 years old where I went through a depression that lasted 1 year crying every day without being able to stop. Until my life changed completely when I read Alex Rovira’s book The Inner Compass and The Introduction to Meditation, it was one of the tools that helped me merely go through the process towards knowing who I am, my being, and healing a part of myself. of me in that cycle and at 37 I am still in the investigation. On the verge of surrender. Since then I have been discovering myself every day intuitively choosing training, retreats, energy techniques, my devotion…
experiences where I can understand myself and at the same time be able to share them.
In these times it is easy to be lost and even more so than normal!
We forget the direction to follow of our true Path.
With the social pressure in which we live we reach the Lack of personality, we stop making decisions and having opinions for ourselves, the ideas of the group are accepted, whether they are correct or not…
There is a concern to investigate different techniques in order to know myself better and thus also know others. At least try to understand a little bit about how we work.
Learn to set limits and take the helm of my ship.
So that we can all be free and happy! Although honestly first Starting with yourself!
The human being is a complex system, not only because of the unpredictable behaviors that it presents at different times, a product of dynamics, but also because there are multiple aspects to consider to generate minimal inferences.
What is VIPASSANA?
Vipassana, which means seeing things as they really are, is one of the oldest meditation techniques in India. It was rediscovered by Gotama the Buddha more than 2,500 years ago and was taught by him as a universal remedy for universal ills, that is, as an art: The art of living.
What is done in a VIPASSANA?
Vipassana meditation is a form of mindfulness meditation originating in India. It is one of Buddha’s main teachings and involves focusing on breathing and body sensations to develop present moment awareness.
You meditate for 10 Days without speaking, without communicating with the other sex, avoiding glances to connect only with you and not with the other people who are on the same journey as you.
2 solid meals a day and another “meal” which is a fruit and a tea.
Day by day VIPASSANA course 10 days
I chose Ávila Dhamma Sacca
You enter 152 participants 50% men 50% women
As you arrive you have to hand over your mobile phone and fill out a test to ensure that you are fit and ready for the course supervised by the center director.
The center has a large kitchen, a beautiful dining room, the rooms are very good, it has a place to walk, it is magnificent!
I am very curious and without expectations, this is very important, whatever you are going to do, whatever in this life, do it without Expectations! How easy it is to say and how difficult it is to carry it out!
From my own experience :))
Let’s get started!
First day! At 4:00am the gong rings
4:30am you go to the Meditation room where you can prepare your customized space
And you meditate until 6:00am
In my case I like to carry out what I choose and do it well. So in this case choose the posture for Meditation and be comfortable in the discomfort for 2h 30min!!!
The first few days you have to give yourself permission to find your position and take control of your place. This is an important part of being patient with yourself.
It’s funny because you can observe other people the tricks we are capable of doing to feel “comfortable” putting about 4-4 cushions on each knee, the meditation bench, just in case 2 different ones in case one doesn’t fit you have the other …it’s fun.
In my case I chose something minimalist, I put a futon. To elevate my hips and two small cushions to put under my knees.
Thus until finding comfort in discomfort. And it is achieved by simply following the exact steps. With willpower, discipline and perseverance.
It is important to be kind to yourself at all times, treating yourself with Love, it is essential.
After finishing the first meditation from 4:30 to 6:00 a.m.
You are going to have breakfast, the food is very good, perfect to have enough energy that your inner engineering needs.
Then at 8:00 you meditate again until 11:00 a.m.
And then you go to eat, all the food is vegan.
After eating until 1:00 p.m. you can take a walk, rest or continue meditating.
And meditate again from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
At 5:00 p.m. you have tea and a fruit and at 6:00 p.m. you meditate again until 7:00 p.m.
Good!!!!! Because at 7:00 p.m. there is a talk by Goenka, which is the hour of respite, where you become aware, where you acquire the knowledge to understand what happens to you during meditation.
And at 8:00 p.m. you do the last meditation of the day until 9:00 p.m.
And then you go to sleep because you’re exhausted.
In my experience, every day I had lucid dreams and I got up again at 4:00 a.m. to go to the shower and be ready for the experience of the new day.
A very useful experience to deal with your daily life.
